Goats on Tour was created with a simple belief at its heart: that animals can bring comfort, connection, and joy in ways nothing else quite can. For many people, especially those living in care homes or supported environments, moments of calm and companionship can make a real difference to their day and that’s exactly what our visits are designed to offer.
Our goats, Bertie, Dave & Dexter, are gentle, friendly, and used to being around people of all ages and abilities. They’re patient, curious, and naturally calming to be around.
Whether someone wants to stroke them, sit quietly beside them, or simply enjoy watching them explore, every interaction is relaxed, unhurried, and tailored to each person’s needs.
Goats on Tour is personal for me. I’ve lived with PTSD, and throughout my own journey, animals especially goats, horses, and dogs have played a huge part in helping me find balance, confidence, and moments of peace. Their presence has been grounding and reassuring, and they’ve helped me reconnect with the world in ways I didn’t expect.
Because of that, I understand how powerful these small, gentle moments can be. I also understand the importance of creating a safe, calm, and respectful environment for every individual we meet. My goal is to bring that same sense of comfort and connection to the people you support.
