Goat Adventures Somerset began with a herd in need. The majority of our goats are rescued and given a second chance at life.
What started as a personal act of compassion quickly grew into a community experience. Today, our goats roam freely across beautiful countryside, bringing laughter, connection, and calm to everyone who walks beside them.

Leon is the founder, driving force, and friendly face behind Goat Adventures Somerset. With a lifelong passion for animals and a deep commitment to community wellbeing, he created Goat Adventures Somerset to bring joy, connection, and meaningful experiences to people of all ages and abilities.
Drawing on years of experience in care homes, SEN environments, and community support roles,
Leon understands the powerful impact that gentle, therapeutic animal interactions can have. His vision was simple but meaningful: to create a space where everyone feels welcome, included, and uplifted — and where goats aren’t just animals, but partners in wellbeing.
From hands-on goat walks to sensory-friendly sessions and mobile “Goats on Tour” visits, Leon ensures every experience is safe, memorable, and filled with warmth. His approach blends professionalism with genuine heart, shaped by his background as a Senior Funeral Director and his dedication to compassionate, people-first service.
Whether he’s leading a walk, greeting families at the farm, or bringing goats into care homes to brighten someone’s day, Leon brings energy, empathy, and a touch of Somerset charm to everything he does.
