Goats on Tour – Booking Terms & Conditions
1. Definitions
“The Company” refers to Goats on Tour.
“The Client” refers to the individual, organisation, or establishment making the booking.
“The Services” refers to any goat therapy visit, educational session, event attendance, or related activity provided by the Company.
2. Booking and Deposit
2.1 All bookings are deemed provisional until a deposit has been received.
2.2 A non‑refundable deposit of £50.00 is required at the time of booking.
2.3 The Company will not reserve or confirm any date or time until the deposit has cleared in full.
2.4 Submission of a booking request constitutes acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.
3. Payment of Balance
3.1 The remaining balance must be paid on or before the date of the scheduled visit.
3.2 Payment may be made via bank transfer, card payment, or other methods agreed in writing by the Company.
3.3 Failure to pay the balance may result in cancellation of the booking without refund of the deposit.
4. Cancellations and Amendments
4.1 Deposits are strictly non‑refundable.
4.2 If the Client wishes to amend or reschedule a booking, the Company will make reasonable efforts to accommodate the request; however, this cannot be guaranteed.
4.3 In the event that the Company must cancel due to animal welfare concerns, extreme weather, illness, or circumstances beyond its control, the deposit will be transferred to an alternative date agreed with the Client.
4.4 The Company shall not be liable for any additional costs incurred by the Client as a result of cancellation or rescheduling.
5. Client Responsibilities
5.1 The Client must ensure that safe, suitable, and secure access is available for the Company’s animals, equipment, and personnel.
5.2 The Client is responsible for providing an appropriate environment for the Services, including adequate space, supervision, and any required permissions.
5.3 The Company reserves the right to refuse, suspend, or terminate the Services if the environment is deemed unsafe or unsuitable for the animals or participants.
6. Animal Welfare
6.1 The welfare of the Company’s goats is paramount.
6.2 The Company reserves the right to modify, shorten, or terminate a session if any animal displays signs of stress, illness, or discomfort.
6.3 The Company will not compromise animal welfare under any circumstances.
7. Clean‑Up and Hygiene
7.1 The Company will clean and remove any mess created by the goats during the visit.
7.2 The Company will provide appropriate hand‑washing or sanitising facilities as part of its hygiene procedures.
7.3 The Client agrees to ensure participants follow hygiene guidance provided by the Company.
8. Liability and Insurance
8.1 The Company holds full public liability insurance.
8.2 The Company will provide risk assessments and documentation upon request.
8.3 The Company shall not be held liable for any injury, loss, or damage arising from failure by the Client or participants to follow instructions or safety guidance.
9. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.
